Occupational Safety and Health
Our company adheres to ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Safety and Health Management System (hereinafter referred to as ISO 45001) and has developed operational procedures, including the "Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Management Method," which apply to all personnel at our Kaohsiung Plants 1 and 2. These procedures cover workers, contractors, visitors, and other personnel, as well as those near the workplace who may be affected by the organization's operations and those working in areas not directly under the organization's control. This covers a 96% coverage rate. To assess the effectiveness of the management system, qualified auditors conduct an internal audit annually, and external audits are commissioned annually by a third-party certification organization. The current ISO 45001 validity period is from October 22, 2023, to October 10, 2026, demonstrating the company's comprehensive and systematic approach to occupational safety and health management.
To ensure all employees understand occupational safety and health regulations and are familiar with the company's safety and health management system, we provide relevant safety and health education and training based on regulations and job requirements. In 2024, 10 occupational safety and health education and training sessions were conducted, with 75 participants receiving a total of 1,144 hours of training.

These programs provide comprehensive care for employees' body, mind, and spirit, thereby enhancing employee recognition and cohesion, and continuously creating a competitive advantage for the company.
To ensure the effectiveness of occupational safety and health management measures, we use statistical data on occupational injuries and diseases as indicators to measure performance, track the root causes of problems, and continuously optimize management policies. In the past three years, KUEN LING has not experienced any serious occupational accidents. Among the recordable injuries, the primary causes were pinching and trampling. We have implemented corresponding improvement measures for these incidents, including equipment upgrades, additional safety equipment, and safety education and training, to reduce the risk of recurrence. Going forward, KUEN LING will continue to improve its supporting measures for occupational injuries and diseases, implementing regular reviews and dynamic optimization to steadily advance toward its goal of zero occupational accidents.
